Privacy Policy

Call Blocker (ee.prica.callblocker) — last updated 11 August 2026

Call Blocker collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no servers. The app does not request the INTERNET permission, so it is technically incapable of transmitting your data anywhere.

What the app accesses

Permission	Why	What happens to the data
`READ_CONTACTS`	To decide whether an incoming caller is someone you know.	When a call arrives, the number is looked up against your contacts on the device. The result is a yes or no. No contact is copied, stored, or transmitted.
`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`	Optional. To tell you that a call was blocked.	The notification is shown on your device only. You can turn this off in the app.

What the app stores on your device

Your settings — whether blocking is on, and your handling preferences.
A list of recently blocked calls — the number and time for up to the last 100 blocked calls, so you can see what you missed.

Both are kept in the app's private storage, readable only by the app. You can erase the blocked-call list at any time with the Clear button on the main screen. Uninstalling the app removes everything.

Backups

If you use Android's backup or device-transfer feature, your settings may be copied to your own Google account so they can be restored on a new device. The blocked-call list is deliberately excluded from these backups and never leaves the device. This is enforced by the app's backup rules, not by policy alone.

What the app does not do

No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or advertising.
No third-party libraries or SDKs of any kind — the app has zero dependencies.
No accounts, sign-in, or user identifiers.
No recording, reading, or storing of call content.
No selling or sharing of data, because none is collected.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date above. The full revision history is public in the source repository.
